How to Sell

Title/Item Name:

Enter a short description of the item you are selling. Use keywords! This is where the search option on this site searches. No HTML.

Gallery: (optional)

This will display your item in the Gallery Auction pages. Your item will also be listed in the Gallery Category you selected from the drop down menu. This feature is optional and will incur a fee.

Featured: (optional)

This will display your item in the Featured Auction pages. Your item will also be listed in the Category you selected from the drop down menu. This feature is optional and will incur a fee.

Category Featured: (optional)

If you wish your item to be displayed at the top of all listings in a specific category. This feature is optional and will incur a fee.

Bold Listing: (optional)

Your item will be listed in a bold font and will stand out against other listings. This feature is optional and will incur a fee.

Highlight Listing: (optional)

Your items background will be highlighted in yellow. This feature really stand out against other listings. This feature is optional and will incur a fee.

Attention Grabbers: (optional)

Place a attention grabber next to your listing to make it stand out among the rest. This feature is optional and will incur a fee.

Category:

Select a category from the drop down menu that best fits the item you are selling.

Image URL: (optional)

Type in an URL for your image or a thumbnail. You can link to an image from anywhere on the Web. Should be no larger than 200x200 for quicker load time. Example: http://www.yoursite.com/images/mypicture.gif .

Auction Duration:

Enter the maximum number of days you wish your item to be auctioned. (3, 5, 7, 10 or 14 days)

Auto Relist:

Enter the maximum number of times you wish your auction item to be re-listed automatically, if it does not sell. (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 times.)

Dutch Auction: (optional)

Our system supports Single Auctions and Dutch Auctions. Choose Dutch Auctions if you have more than one of the same item for auction.

Quantity for sale:

Used for Dutch Auctions, simply enter the quantity of items you wish to offer for auction. Leave set at 1 unless this is a Dutch Auction.

Payment Methods:

You may select one or multiple payment methods. An option for letting you describe special payment terms can also be selected and then add the special instructions in the Description field.

Where will you ship?

Simply choose whether you will ship to your Country only or Internationally.

Who pays for shipping?

Select who pays for shipping. An option for letting you describe special shipping arrangements can also be selected and then add the special instructions in the Description field. See our helpful Shipping, Cartage and Freight page for suggested services and price quotes.

Auction Ad Builder or Auction Ad Builder Pro: (optional)

In just minutes you can create a professional looking ad for your Auction listing. All fields are optional and can be left blank. You can make different looking ads by selecting only a few options or by selecting them all. Feel free to experiment with all the combination. Colors listed are just a few, any color will work in the color fields. Try it! Most of all have fun!

Description:

This is probably the most important part of making a good sale. This is where you need to type a complete description of your item. The more information that you put in here the better the buyer will know what to expect of the item. We ask that you be honest in your description so you will avoid negative feedback. To make your description stand-out more you may use HTML in the description field.

Your Starting Bid:

If you want the bidding to start at a certain price you need to put it in here. This will set the Starting bid at the price you specify.

Your Reserve Price: (optional)

Setting a price in this box gives you the option of not selling the item if the bids do not reach your reserve price. You may still opt to sell it to the highest bidder if you so choose but this leaves the option in your hands. If this is not set then you are required to carry out the transaction with the highest bidder no matter what the bid is.

Buy-It Now: (optional)

Sell your item instantly to the first buyer who meets your specified price. The Buy-It Now price is only available before bids appear. Buy It Now is not currently available for multiple item auctions.

Enter the user name you used to register.

Your Password:

Enter the password you used to register.
